Ho Chi Minh City

We were taken around the city on a bike by an old Vietnamese man from the war he was lovely and new all the history, great experience.

Just a few motorbikes, there are 10 million people in the city and 8 million own bikes.

Local temples in the city, very beautiful

                                      Lotus flower
Craig and the Vietnamese man on the bike we went round on.

We went to the war museum and saw all the tanks, boats, aircraft etc, some of which were left by the americans when they left the country, very sad but amazing to experience.

Street drinks freshly squeezed by the locals, gave us little stalls and let us sit with them :) lovely people.

The local post office which had clocks with all the local times in different countries.

One of the most famous drinks is to buy a coconut they cut the top off in front of you stick a straw in, you then drink the coconut water fresh from the coconut and then eat the coconut inside, tastes amazing and so hydrating.

There was a tree competition with loads of exotic trees they were beautiful.

The Vietnamese man cracked our coconuts open for us so we could eat the inside.

All the trees for the competition.

Nichole, Sylvain, Craig and there friend Chloe who we are staying with and have been so kind, helpful and we have enjoyed our time with them so much.

Typical the one product with my name on in the body whitening cream which is what the locals use like we use fake tan, as being pale to them is beautiful not being tanned.
